What is an accident Doctor?

A accident doctor is more than just a medical doctor, neurologist, orthopedic, chiropractor, pain management, or physical therapist. They are Doctors that know how to give you the proper documentation to get the most out of your personal injury case. Furthermore they are equipped to bill and file pip, no fault insurance, and med pay. Finding doctors that specialize in personal case injuries, and medical billing, is the last thing you should worry about after an injury. Accident doctors near your area can be very difficult to find. However we are here to help, and make it easy.

What is PIP?

PIP stands for personal injury protection, PIP will cover you and anyone in your car at the time of your crash regardless if you were cited or at fault. PIP covers injuries endured from truck, auto, or motorcycle crashes. Our Medical specialist can bill PIP directly, however PIP will not cover anymore per person over the benefit amount. Not all states have mandatory PIP insurance, and you may be able to opt out of this coverage should you choose something else. Some states may allow you to have PIP as additional coverage to your existing policy. Be aware that in some states you’ll have up to two years to file a medical claim, while in other states you may have as little as 14 days to seek medical care. make sure to check with your policy what your state requires, and how much PIP will cover before making a decision on a form of coverage.

What is Med Pay?

Med Pay is an insurance where you set the benefit amount per person. A benefit amount can range from 500-100,000 per person, not per auto accident, unlike PIP. Med Pay is something you have to ask for and is a good alternative on a non PIP state. Make sure to determine if their policy/limits are right for you and your family. Med Pay can be very cost efficient, and it’s something you’ll be glad to have when you need it.
