Description: Kari A. Hawkins, DC, is the executive director at Advanced Integrative Medical Center in Redondo Beach, California. At the fully integrative practice, Dr. Hawkins, a chiropractor, leads a team that includes experts in regenerative medicine, physical medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, pain management, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and acupuncture. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College (now, Cleveland University Kansas City) in Overland Park, Kansas. Under her direction, the Advanced Integrative Medical Center team upholds the highest standards of education and training and uses the most advanced, evidence-based techniques to diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions.

Description: Dr. Cary D. Nelson is a board-certified family practitioner, aesthetic and medical concierge and nutraceutical advisor. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1993. After a postgraduate spent working with Developmentally Disabled adults and as an EMT, he began his medical school journey at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, graduating in 2000, and then completing a requisite Fifth Pathway Program at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York in 2001. Dr. Nelson began his internship in the heart of Brooklyn, New York at Wycoff Heights Medical Center in affiliation with Cornell University. He eventually transferred to the PIH Family Practice Residency Program, Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier in 2005 and finished as Co-Chief resident. It was during his second year, however, that he found his passion for what was then a “new” field of medicine called Aesthetic Medicine.
